Union Pipe Trades Apprentice leans to weld

The Southwest Pipe Trades Association is affiliated with 13 United Association (UA) Local Unions, including one Local whose jurisdiction covers New Mexico and the southwest corner of Texas. Currently, the region is seeing a building boom of new commercial and industrial construction, as well as new pipelines being built, plus work performed under the national infrastructure bill.

Now is the perfect time to make a career move and join the UA as experienced member of the pipe trades.

Become a member of  Local  412 in New Mexico. Employment opportunities are plentiful, as the region is in the midst of a building boom and the Baby Boomer generation begins to retire.

Experienced piping industry workers can improve their standard of living by going to work for one of our affiliated contractors.

As a member of Local 412, you will earn a family-supporting wage and great fringe benefits, such as full family health insurance and retirement benefits like a 401k and pension.

Furthermore, our members reap the benefits of journeyman upgrade training funded by our contractors. These courses allow journeymen to stay up-to-date on the latest industry technologies, improve/increase your skillset and earn industry-leading certifications to make you more employable.
