UA Local 344 - Oklahoma City

UA Local 344 located in Oklahoma City was founded as a result of the merger of five other local unions. Local 344 covers most of the land space of Oklahoma and has jurisdiction in cities such as Oklahoma City and Norman. The members of Local 344 are pipe fitters and welders, plumbers and HVAC-R service technicians. Local 344 takes great pride in the core values that have been set within the Local. Also, our motto is “Excellence Through Education,” as we take great pride in providing Oklahoma with highly skilled, competent workers in the pipe trades. Currently, our apprenticeship program  consists of five years of training, both on the job and in the classroom, covering a variety of subjects. Once completed, apprentices will hold the necessary licenses to work legally in the plumbing and pipefitting industry.

UA Local 344 Jurisdiction

UA Local 344 represents pipe trades apprentices and journeymen throughout the central and western regions of Oklahoma. The UA Local 344 Union Hall and training center are both located in Oklahoma City.
