SWPTA Contractors

Building the region’s infrastructure

While the Southwest Pipe Trades Association represents the tradesmen and tradeswomen who work on jobsites every day, the SWPTA also partners with the Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA) and the Mechanical Contractors Association of Texas, who employ these highly trained and highly skilled tradesmen and tradeswomen.

Without the commitment of these contractors to provide safe and fair working conditions for the members of SWPTA affiliated UA Local Unions, the pipe trades industry would be severely lagging in the southwest region. They recognize the importance of registered apprenticeship programs and journeymen upgrade training. These same contractors ensure the tradesmen and tradeswomen who work for them have access to the quality training to make them the premier pipe trades workforce in the southwest.

This group of contractors has proved their commitment to pushing the industry forward and have worked on some of the most crucial projects in the southwest region such as building schools, hospitals, pro sports stadiums, energy pipelines and more.
